Become a mentor.

To be a mentor, you don’t need special skills, just an ability to listen and to offer friendship, guidance and encouragement to a young person. You’ll be amazed by how much you’ll get out of the experience.

Requirements

  1. 18 years or older
  2. Fill out application
  3. Pass background check
  4. Attend a training session
  5. Begin changing a life

Commitment

In order to become a mentor, you must commit to one hour a week for one full year of mentor responsibilities. To make a difference, you have to be there. A full year of commitment promotes trust, confidence, and stability within the student, which are all crucial components for life changing effects. ​

Application Deadline

We accept applications all year long! Any time that works for you to become a mentor will work for us.  To fill out an application, check out the link below.

Training Sessions

Attendance at a training session is required in order to become a Mentor. Training sessions are held all year round.
