Meet Our Team!

We are a small, but devoted, team of staff members focused on promoting positive youth development in our Athens community. As a school-based mentoring program, we partner with School Counselors to coordinate mentoring at the 21 schools throughout the Clarke County School District. We are grateful to work alongside these dedicated professionals in an effort to support students in grades K-12. Additionally, we are fortunate to have a committed Board of Directors who provide additional leadership and vision for our program!

Alison Rosch, Executive Director

Picture
Following a 20+ year career as a school social worker/counselor, Alison joined the Clarke County Mentor Program in 2022 as our first Program Manager and was promoted to Executive Director in 2023.

Alison and her husband moved to Athens in 1996 to attend graduate school at the University of Georgia and have called Athens home ever since. As a parent of two boys, Alison has enjoyed being involved with the Athens community and the Clarke County School District, be it through serving on PTA boards or enjoying their athletic and extracurricular activities.

In her free time, Alison enjoys spending time with her family, travel, sports, and the outdoors!

Spring Turner, Program Coordinator - Middle & High School Grades

Picture
Spring hails from the Great Lakes State of Michigan!  She was born in a small town on Lake Michigan approximately 100 miles east of Chicago.  After working in higher education for over 15 years in Michigan, she moved to Arizona in 2001 and joined the Maricopa Community College District as a Student Services Professional.  In 2019 she retired from her role as Counseling Faculty and later that year she moved to Georgia.

One of the things that people ask her when she meets them for the first time is…..how did you get your name, Spring?  Were you born in the springtime?  Her answer is always the same.  “Yes, I was born in the spring.”

Spring enjoys volunteering her time servicing the Athens Community while conducting voter registration activities.  She also enjoys mentoring her 8th grade REACH Scholar at Burney Harris Lyons Middle School.  Her current greatest joy is traveling with her adult daughter and exploring all of the wonders of Georgia!

Lindsey Bailey, Program Coordinator - Elementary School Grades

Picture
Lindsey came to Athens in 2006 to attend the University of Georgia, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees—and met her husband, a proud Clarke Central graduate. After nearly a decade as a school counselor, most recently at Timothy Road Elementary, Lindsey joined CCMP in 2025 as a Program Coordinator.

Her work has always focused on the social-emotional well-being of students, from leading classroom lessons to organizing school-wide events like Kindness Week and Career Day. She’s passionate about building positive, supportive school communities and is excited to help strengthen mentorship connections across CCSD elementary schools.

In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband and their baby boy, visiting local coffee shops, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs

Terry Baez, Program Assistant

Picture

Terry has served as the Program Assistant for the Clarke County Mentor Program since 2004.  She is directly responsible for application management and much of the onboarding process for mentors and mentees in our program – things would not run as smoothly without her!

Terry and her husband are originally from New York, but have called the Athens area home since 1997. When she’s not at CCMP, she enjoys DIY crafts, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
